Mighty Buildings

Branding a new leader in the 3D printed construction industry.

In 2022 I joined Mighty Buildings with the task of reshaping their brand, strategy, website, messaging, content, and assets to better fit their new B2B strategy.

Working directly with the C-Suite and Business Development I was key in finding the right branding partners, defining the project requirements and budget, as well as giving valuable creative input which shaped the brand strategy, visual identity, and mission statement. Working with internal and external teams, I planned, prioritized, developed, and launched new internal/external branded materials, including an entirely new website, core sales presentations, investor presentations, marketing materials, photo/video content, and plans for a branded factory and HQ interior design.

Before the Rebrand

Mighty Buildings was shifting away from selling ADU’s direct to consumer and towards selling entire homes at scale to developers.

They needed a brand, strategy, and messaging that reflected their new business model, and to position them as a leader in the industry.

After the Rebrand

Hector Pottie
Creative Director, Head of Creative at Moving Brands

“Kirk was instrumental throughout the entire process, acting in the role of director of brand for Mighty Buildings. He works as a true creative partner, is highly collaborative and open, and his inputs help craft all aspects of the final identity. He was highly effective at navigating and taking on multiple opinions from across his leadership team, whilst also firm with his own perspective on what would drive the brand forward.“

Launching the new Mighty Buildings website

I led the design team and managed development of an entirely new website that reflected Mighty Buildings new B2B business model, product, mission, and offerings.

Mighty House Configurator Concept

As part of my digital product strategy for Mighty Buildings, I designed a concept of an online configurator tool. The Mighty Buildings Configurator is a self service home/development customization tool that streamlines sales and improves customer experience. It gives developers an easy way to configure a number of home models online before setting up a meeting, this also allows Mighty Buildings to provide estimates in a short turn around without significant time investment.

Product Marketing Brochure

I was tasked to lead the strategy on creating a product marketing brochure, targeted at developers. The excerpts below are from the product marketing brochure which was intended to be the prime source of company product information for internal and external use. No artifact had existed prior to me joining the company.

Creative Direction for premium visual content

By curating existing visual assets and providing direction for new imagery, I established a premium visual aesthetic for Mighty Buildings that highlights Mighty’s unique technology, materials, and product.
